Aftercare Centre

Beaulieu Preparatory School’s busy Aftercare Centre caters for 30 to 40  children per afternoon. Aftercare is housed in a purpose-built centre adjacent to the sports fields.

There is a large colourful playroom and a workroom that accommodates students while they complete their homework assignments. A range of reference books, dictionaries and computers are available to assist them in their work. Homework is supervised by qualified teachers, so that children can relax with their families when they get home, knowing that homework has been completed.

The garden has a climbing frame, swings, a trampoline, a sandpit and a ball court set in a lawn where the younger children play under supervision.

Children bring a lunch pack from home for Aftercare. On Friday afternoons pupils receive a treat such as a muffin, popcorn or icy.

Aftercare strives to offer a fun, home away from home experience for the children.

Aftercare runs during the term, from Mondays to Fridays, from 13:30 – 17:30.
