Aftercare Centre

Beaulieu Preparatory School’s busy Aftercare Centre caters for an average of 50 children per afternoon. Aftercare is housed in a purpose-built centre adjacent to the sports fields.

There is a large colourful playroom and a workroom that accommodates students while they complete their homework assignments. A range of reference books, dictionaries and computers are available to assist them in their work. Homework is supervised by qualified teachers, so that children can relax with their families when they get home, knowing that homework has been completed.

The garden has a climbing frame, swings, a trampoline, a sandpit and a ball court set in a lawn where the younger children play under supervision.

Aftercare will supply juice throughout the afternoon and biscuits are also supplied. Hot chocolate is offered on cold days. Aftercare offers toasted sandwiches daily at R15.00 per sandwich. Toasted sandwiches and ice lollies can be ordered at an extra cost. Some children like to bring their own food for lunch.

Aftercare runs during the term, from Mondays to Fridays, from 13:30 – 17:30.
